Moving through the world.

Directions are typed on their own, north, ne, down. There is no `go`: an exit called gate is entered by typing gate.

THE OPEN MAP IS NOT ROOMS. Out in the wilderness you move by direction across a coordinate map rather than between built rooms, and what you meet is generated from the land you are crossing. enter descends into a structure you are standing on; return brings you back to settled ground.

LONG DISTANCE. hire takes ship on an NPC line, schedule reads the timetable, and span crosses the great bridge. Ships you own are a different matter, help ships.
