Karan Wharf

Karan Wharf is Eastwatch Quay's opposite number across the strait and its designated rival, a port with centuries of history to the Quay's none and a chip on its shoulder about every one of them. It was the old east's front door long before the treaty, and the feud-families who own its wharves have carried the same grudges, tariffs and marriage disputes since before the onslaught, which the Wharf privately regards as a brief interruption of more important business. Spring's festival rotation calls here, and the town hosts with the fierce hospitality of the east: nothing is free, everything is excellent, and the guest who leaves unimpressed has only himself to blame.
