board shows every board and what is new on it; board <name> the threads on one; board <name> <n> reads a thread; board <name> post <subject> starts one and board <name> reply <n> answers; board <name> remove <n> takes down your own. A thread has a subject and an author and everything after is a reply, and the board remembers what you have read, so it can tell you two new on a conversation you were already following.
THE FIVE. SERVER (changelogs, maintenance windows, downtime) and SUPPORT are GLOBAL and written by Keepers, reachable from anywhere because making a player walk to learn the server restarts in ten minutes is friction with no upside. EVENTS is global too and shadows the event channel. TRADE hangs in the settlements and is REGIONAL: four markets stay alive where fourteen would not, and prices differ by region because materials do. CLAN hangs in your clan hall, which gives a hall a job beyond decoration.
The Annalist writes to the boards as well: a week before each festival, on the day, and at the close with the results, and now and then a line of the world's own story.
