What you have killed, and what it taught you.
bestiary is your record of every creature you have fought. It fills in as you fight the same kind repeatedly, the first kill tells you almost nothing, and by the tenth you know its resistances and what it drops.
WHAT A CREATURE IS MATTERS. A spider's bite impairs, a scorpion brings adderbite, a dragon's breath carries wyrm's bile. Forty creature families carry a signature affliction drawn from the same poisons an alchemist uses.
journal is the wider record, your lifetime in the world. Cards are earned from the bestiary too (help cards).
