Building

The world is edited in place, by number.

The world is edited in place, by number.

ZONES. zlist is the catalogue (paged, 25 a page: zlist page 2, zlist all 3, zlist forest 2); the number in the left column is the zone id that mlist, olist and goto take. A Warden assigns zones to an Architect with assign <who> <zone>; you build only where you are assigned, and zlist shows yours with a mark.

ROOMS AND EXITS. dig <dir> <name> cuts a room; redit edits the one you stand in (name, description, flags, details, service); changes (also olclog) shows who touched what. goto <vnum> and at <vnum> <command> move you and run things elsewhere.

MOBS AND OBJECTS. medit and oedit edit; load stands a copy of a catalogue entry; mlist <zone> and olist <zone> list what a zone holds. vnum <text> finds anything by name and tells you its number, or that it is a template (city commons carry none by policy) or unstamped (spawned since the last renumber); renumber stamps the world.

SIGHT. holylight reads the world as it is rather than as you own it (charts, hidden things, dark rooms). estat, aflags and acheck inspect what an entity carries.
